I was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 3, in September 2019. My husband, FM and I had many decisions to make: where to receive the treatment, what type of treatment, sequence of procedures, can we afford the treatment, etc.
Faced with fear and information overload, I asked the Lord where I should go and to take care of my needs. Amazingly, while watching a show, the word "PARKWAY" appeared. I took it as God's direction. Even as I continued to pray, the second confirmation came through a lady who worked in the healthcare industry. God's peace was with me as we decided on the medical team and treatment plan. Hence, I received a year of cancer treatment, including surgery, radiation therapy and 6-month of immunochemotherapy at Parkway Cancer Centre.
Now, I am cancer -free! Praise the Lord! I am thankful to God for His provision before, during and after my cancer treatment.
Three Areas of Experiencing God's provision...
1) Promises of God's Word that I held close to my heart
Before treatment:
Isaiah 43:2 (ESV)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flames shall not consume you.
During treatment
Hebrews 10:35-36 (ESV)
35 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
Regular input of GOD'S WORD and daily worshipping Him with songs from HIS WORD helped me through this difficult season of my life. The power of worship through His Word and His creation in nature lead FM and I to create a video entitled 'A faith journey through cancer'. We share this video with others and encourage everyone to continually immerse in His words and claim His promises.

2) Financial & Physical Provision
Insurance $$$
I changed my health insurance plan and a tooth crown in May and July 2019 before I knew about my cancer diagnosis respectively. The change in insurance plan has put me under a full health coverage for my cancer treatment which amounted to $250K! I am thankful to God for lifting a huge financial burden off my shoulder as well as clearing my tooth crown before undergoing chemotherapy.
REST
Looking back, God provided back to back leave from work with the 60 days medical leave to give me sufficient rest that I so much needed.
3) Support & Fellowship
During my cancer journey, there were little joys in life like food, prayers and supports I received from family and friends. God cares about the little things that made me feel loved!
GOD'S PROVISION IS PERFECT!
