God's stories are testimonies of our personal experiences with our Living God at work in our lives; testifying how God heals and delivers us in difficult times and declaring His faithfulness, grace, mercies, goodness, love, care and many other attributes of Him. The very word testimony in Hebrew comes from a root word that means to repeat , to do again. The testimony is something to be repeated both in word and in deed. Therefore, when we declare the testimonies of God to people, we are setting them up to meet God in the same way we are declaring.

Joshua 4:6-7 (ESV)
6 ... When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’ 7 then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.

Luke 8:38-39 (ESV)
38 ... Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 "Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you." And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him."

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” John 20:19 (NIV)

8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But JUST SAY THE WORD, and my servant will be healed. 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.  Matt 8:8, ,13 (NIV)

The core team of BCCM strongly believes that a prayer released through Whats apps, Phone call, Facetime or Zoom will bring His Presence to the person whom we are praying for because Jesus is there totally unrestricted by any of walls, time zones and distance.

We understand that there are times when patients are unable to attend an onsite meeting because they feel weak and needed to be isolated from crowd while undergoing treatment. Others have physical mobility that prevent them from attending. To this group of people who are in need of a release of His Word through prayer, BCCM has a monthly Zoom Meeting. The core team would love to pray for you. You will be admitted in from the waiting room. You just need to register with the link.

So let's connect through Zoom for a time of hearing our voices and seeing the words on the screen.  God is still the miracle working God. He still hears our cries. He will definitely be Present.

Thank God for such wonderful invention!

Jehovah Uzzi: The Lord My Strength!  image
I was down with the 1st bout of stomach flu on 20 may 22, 2nd bout on 24 may 22 & ended up with gastric on 26 may.  I could not hold down my food and my food & water intake were severely limited due to the discomfort in my digestive system.

On 28 may, I was debating within myself if I should attend Bethesda Cancer Care Ministry(BBCM) meeting or I should go and vomit as I was feeling highly uncomfortable. I decided to attend the meeting and tried my best not to vomit. As the meeting progressed, the urge to vomit was gone and the pain I was experiencing in my stomach was gone.

During dinner that day, I was able to eat a slightly bigger portion (as compared to the entire week) and hold down my dinner without vomiting and feeling the pain in my stomach. I was feeling well and was able to host my husband's relatives who came over in the late afternoon.

Thank God for HIS healing and mercy upon me. His strength upon me to meet the demands of the day and guiding me to the meeting. All praise and glory to the Lord!

My husband also thanked God for His healing over me that I could join him in hosting his relatives at our place. '

I was invited to join a zoom meeting by Bro Peter, the I/C of BCCM on 10 Aug 2020 @ 10 am for a time of intercession for me in prayer.

At the time of worship on zoom, I felt the Holy Spirit at work. He helped me praise God with all my heart and remember His awesome promises. I believe that God is always with me every step of the way.

Just before the worship, I had pain in my left leg. I could not bend my toes. My body felt heavy, and I could not make a tight fist due to the pain in my hands too.

After the worship, Bro Peter asked me about my worship experience. All I could say was that I knew God has healed me and He is always with me.

When Jeannette told me what God had put in her heart for me, I cried as I was overwhelmed with God's goodness. I know in all the challenges I faced, I embraced God’s promises that He would protect and keep me. All I need is to be still. He would hold me in every difficult situation, and I would glorify Him in my life by my faith.

Later on, I felt lighter, and the pain in my legs suddenly disappeared. Additionally, the pain and stiffness in my left toes that made me unable to bend them (P/S: I did a CT scan of the kidneys and it showed my left kidney swelling according to the doctors) were fine now. Amen!

God provides comfort and healing for me. Praise the Lord!

Lastly, I claim that my left kidney healed and to receive favourable results in my next medical test scheduled in September 2022 in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Thank you, Bro Peter, Sis Shirley, and Sis Jeanette for praying for me.

I tested positive for covid via PCR test on Tuesday night,11 Oct 22.  I felt fatigued, tensed, unable to sleep, and extremely uncomfortable due to the throat pain.   Bethesda Cancer Care Ministry (BCCM) quickly organized a zoom prayer meeting the following night upon learning of my diagnosis.

At the start of the meeting, my tense aching shoulders acted up again. My throat was swollen, on fire, and painful especially when swallowing. I have also lost my voice. The pain in the throat was so intense that my eardrums hurt, and the ear pain woke me up at night. As the meeting progressed, I felt peace filling me and resting over my throat. I felt relaxed and my shoulders no longer tensed and aching. My right side of the throat improved and 90% of the symptoms subsided, giving me a much-needed reprieve throat-wise. That night I was finally able to sleep soundly after nights of extremely interrupted sleep. The Word of Knowledge: “the walls of Jericho are crashing down”, was released during the zoom meeting. It immediately resonated in me, bringing to mind the surrender of my fears, anxieties, and worries and my submission to Him during worship. I knew that my healing had started that night and God has broken the hold of COVID-19 over me and my household (as my husband was covid positive too).

During this period, I was prescribed Paxlovid for 5 days.  I started taking it on 13 Oct and my infectious disease doctor told me that the estimated recovery period is about a week if not beyond even with Paxlovid. And he was unsure whether it would work as well on me as compared to an elderly patient taking it. On 14 Oct, I went to the hospital to perform blood tests, x-ray, and collect antibiotics. Surprisingly, my blood test results were all normal, totally uncharacteristic of a sick person. Excited I tested myself and the ART kit showed a very faint positive line. I performed my ART on 15 Oct and was cleared. In hindsight, I realized that God has already healed me, and the 14 Oct blood test results revealed His healing for me.

God is good and He healed me of covid in 4 days’ time. He defied human forecasts as my doctor told me not to waste my ART kits testing on D3/4 as he didn't estimate I will be well so soon.  I personally believe that God had completely healed me on the 12 Oct night although my body took some time to fully recover. God has also surrounded my husband and me with our CG and BCCM checking in on us daily and we never felt alone. His timing is also perfect in that I turned positive only when my husband has passed the initial stage of the illness. Hence, we were able to take turns caring for each other. God knows everything about me, and HE took care of my worries.   My father was covid positive at the same time and he recovered speedily (on day 4) and without much discomfort. My mother who was exposed to my dad and my husband was completely untouched. I could just concentrate on myself and not be distracted. What turns out to be a potentially disastrous event, God turned into a time of me experiencing HIM as my Banner, Provider, Healer, and Shepherd. Most importantly, I experienced HIM as my Abba Father who took over and orchestrated everything for His daughter so that His daughter can rest. The thief came to hurt my family and me, but my Abba Father came to defend, protect, provide, and nurse me back to health.

John 10:10-14
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. 12 But a [a]hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep and am known by My own.

Restitution is the recompense and restoration of what was lost or stolen from the owner. In John 10:10, Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly." Cancer is not the end but a beginning of a journey with Jesus Christ and an inward experience of our healing restitutions as we follow Him. We would like to invite you to attend our Nov Talk about "Healing & Restitution" by Pastor Darien Choo. He is the Senior Pastor of Trinity Community Centre and is passionate about building strong families for the Kingdom of God, seeing healing, restoration, and reconciliation taking place with divine miracles, signs, and wonders of God.

Grief and loss are closely knitted together and inseparable. When one experiences loss, grief is right there. What ensured from here are sadness, fear, anger, denial, confusion, etc. These emotions will fill the void of that empty space which often, if left unchecked , will only lead a person to deeper despair: Why has this happened to me? How does one process through these emotions? How don I accept the reality that things may never be the same again after a mastectomy? After a prostate cancer treatment? How am I to survive with a loss of limb after my bone and soft tissue? If you are facing this challenge, BCCM is inviting you to the talk by Mr Klein Tan. BCCM is a safe place. Come and soak in the Presence of God's Love, Healing and Deliverance again.
